Award-winning Workforce Training and Professional Development:
The Road to the Training Top 10 Hall of Fame

SCC’s commitment to the effective education and training of our internal and external clients helps users get the maximum utilization and value from their LIS investment. More than ever, this is an important component to a successful IT implementation, and SCC is proud and honored to have been recognized over the years for our commitment to excellence. Dedication to education and training gets noticed!

Approved CEU provider – ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program

Since 2002, SCC has been an approved provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) P.A.C.E. Program (Professional Acknowledgment for Continuing Education).

P.A.C.E. provides a means for recording credits that Clinical Laboratory Professionals earn by attending continuing education programs to maintain and enhance their competence. For more information on ASCLS and continuing education, visit their website at www.ascls.org.

Client staff members can earn free continuing education credits (CEUs) that go towards keeping up their P.A.C.E. certification by attending classes at SCC or at the annual SNUG conference.

Training Top 10 Hall of Fame

In 2008, Training magazine established the Training Top 10 Hall of Fame to recognize those companies that have held Top 10 spots in the Training Top 125 for four consecutive years. Since then, 18 companies have been inducted into the Training Top 10 Hall of Fame: Booz Allen Hamilton, Capital Blue Cross, CHG Healthcare Services, Deloitte LLP, Ernst & Young, Farmers Insurance, General Mills, Inc., IBM, Jiffy Lube International, Inc., KLA-Tencor, KPMG LLP, McCarthy Building Companies, Microsoft Corporation, Pfizer/Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, SCC Soft Computer, and Verizon.*

Because SCC was ranked in the Training Top 10 for four consecutive years—including two Training Top 5 rankings (2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011), the company was invited to join this elite group of industry titans. SCC Soft Computer was inducted into the Training Top 10 Hall of Fame in February 2012, along with computer software giant, Microsoft Corporation.
