As 2022 draws to a close and we prepare for the excitement which lies ahead in 2023, SCC would like to sincerely thank our clients and employees for their continued support. Over the past year, we have welcomed over 40 new members to SCC’s family. These new additions directly contribute to our success within the healthcare industry. In addition to providing our customers 24/7 global support, here at SCC, we are proud to also partner with local schools and organizations such as the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Humane Society to ensure we continue to focus not only on delivering world-class software but also to play a role in the Tampa Bay community. In collaboration with the Soft Network Users Group “SNUG”, SCC was finally able to host the 28th Annual SNUG Conference, with a very fitting theme of “Transformation: New Possibilities for a Changing World.” Customers from around the world were able to attend 40+ educational sessions and learn more about SCC’s applications and roadmap moving into 2023 and beyond. The resounding positive customer feedback provided in the Annual Client Satisfaction Survey conducted during the conference continues to demonstrate SCC’s commitment to listening to our customers in an effort to enhance their overall experience with SCC’s applications, support, and working alongside our dedicated staff. Rapidly becoming a new tradition, SCC hosted our Annual Client Appreciation Banquet on a private dinner yacht allowing employees and clients the opportunity to network while taking in the beautiful waterways of Clearwater Beach. Preparations are underway for the 2023 Annual SNUG Conference with the theme of “Collaboration: Together We Achieve More”, traditionally hosted on Clearwater Beach, May 7-11. After travel restrictions opened up, SCC attended 20+ tradeshows world-wide in locations such as Orlando, Chicago, Sydney, Melbourne, London, Switzerland, and more! After over two years of being unable to meet prospects or see existing clients face-to-face, we were excited to be given the opportunity to gather safely together once again.
SCC’s Research and Development teams introduced over 20 product updates with the goal to design, develop, deliver, implement, and support the most advanced LIS software available in the marketplace today. With new products being developed and new enhancements added to existing products, SCC remains committed to delivering effective technology and innovative designs to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of our clients. These 20+ updates included products such as SoftMic®, SoftLab®, SoftBank®, SoftID®, SoftMedia®, SoftWebPlus®, SoftTotalQC®, SoftMolecular®, SoftCytogenetics®, and more!
SCC collectively put on a total of over 30 successful webinars from our SNUG Educational Series and SCC’s Product Showcase Webinar Series. The SNUG Webinar Series occurs twice a month on Tuesdays at 12pm ET, and the Product Showcase Webinars are also hosted twice a month on Thursdays at 12pm ET. Both webinar series are hosted by SCC’s subject-matter experts with a goal to empower our clients to become expert users of SCC’s applications and to provide opportunity for them to learn what’s new with these powerful software solutions. SCC’s Quality Assurance Department continues to be hard at work and accomplished several company objectives in 2022. These accomplishments include successfully completing both the ISO 13485/MDSAP and ISO 27001 Recertification Audit with no findings, validation testing on over 26 SCC products, renewal of the FDA registrations in the U.S. marketing, renewal of Medical Device Establishment License class 1 devices and SoftBank, and continued testing of SCC’s 5.0 product. The quality management division also had the following role change: the Quality Management Representative and Director of Quality Management now also serves as SCC’s Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) who is the designated HIPAA Compliance Officer, Data Protection Officer, and Privacy Shield dispute contact.
And last but certainly not least, we are more than happy to announce SCC Soft Computer successfully had 110 go-lives this year. SCC’s implementation specialists, programming and support teams work around the clock to ensure a smooth and successful go-live. These go-lives vary from software updates such as SoftReports®, SoftBank®, SoftWorkload®, and many more! We have also hosted new implementation go-lives for SoftLab®, SoftTotalQC®, and HIS. We are grateful to our clients all over the world for choosing us to be their LIS provider of choice. SCC looks forward to the continuous growth in 2023 and future years to come.
